How we started
A Family Business Rooted in York
House Insurance was founded in 1987 by Robert and Carol Haines, two York natives who believed homeowners deserved more than a 1-800 number when something went wrong. They opened a small office on Main Street and built their business the old-fashioned way — one handshake at a time.
